The Art of Meditation

The deeper purpose of Buddhist meditation is to bring about a change in our habitual patterns, for in its ordinary state our mind is restless and rarely dwells in the present moment. The transcript of a teaching by Lama Kunsang on the four foundations of mindfulness is available in the meditation booklet of the same name in German and English.

Tsa Lung

In Tsa Lung, the Tibetan yoga, our body is trained outwardly and our mind inwardly by means of physical exercises, breathing techniques and visualizations. The basis for this work are the inner, or secret, channels and chakras, called Tsa in Tibetan, and the subtle winds or energy winds, called Lung in Tibetan.
