Lama Kunsang’s aid project in Dehradun

With part of the donated money, Lama Kunsang supports the monastery in Dehradun, India, where he received his training. He helps the young monks and nuns with essential supplies such as beds, blankets, clothing and food. The young monks are delighted to have a bed of their own, as some of them had never owned one before.

Lama Kunsang lived there as a monk himself and knows their needs. We are delighted if you support a project with an initiative of your own or contribute with a donation by organizing an event.

Voluntary work & financing of the center

The center is organized through the registered association “Drikung Kagyu Dorje Ling”. It is a non-profit organization and all tasks are carried out on a voluntary basis by the board members and a large number of helpers. The events at the center in Kreuzlingen are open to everyone interested and can be attended for a cost contribution, regardless of membership. These contributions are an important part of maintaining the center.

In addition to the cost contributions, the center is financed by the annual fees of the association members and by donations. According to the Thurgau tax authority, the latter are tax-exempt for cantonal and municipal taxes as well as direct federal tax.
